10TH ANNUAL AMATEUR PHOTO CONTEST

Information: Adults (ages 16 and over) Youth (ages 15 and under). 5 total entries per person. COLOR or B/W or digital film can be used. Students do not need to select a category. Best of Show Prize for each age division; First Place Prize for each age division; Ribbons for 2nd, 3rd place winners; Judged entries will be on display during the month of October at The Center, 714 South Main Street, Council Bluffs, IA. Entries will NOT be returned. Phone 328-4992 with any questions. DEADLINE September 14, 2012, at 5:00 p.m.

Rules

  • All entries must be original photos, taken by applicant.

  • Photos must be either 5x7 mounted on 8x10 black matte OR 8x10 mounted on 11x14 black Matte.

  • No Frames.

  • Maximum 5 entries per person.

  • Entries must be received by September 14, 2012, 5:00 p.m. (Note: The Bluffs Arts Council office is closed on Fridays.)

  • Photos may be reproduced by Bluffs Arts Council for publicity purposes.

  • Photos will not be returned, but may be picked up after the contest has ended.

  • Each entry must have a completed application label securely affixed to the back. If not, it will be disqualified.

Please send $15 entry fee (per person), maximum 5 entries per person & Matted photo entry/ies, with application label securely affixed to the back of each entry to:

All photographs entered in the contest can be picked up at the Bluffs Arts Council Office after Monday, November 5th.

Photos not picked up by December 31st become the property of the Bluffs Arts Council.
